Effnet ROHC™ v2.2.
A new release of the Effnet ROHC™ is now available. Effnet ROHC™ version
2.2, makes it easier to use the API together with the sample application
code in order to speed up the integration.
The implementation has also been fine tuned to handle VoIP flows in a
more efficient way. Other improvements includes, enhanced field pattern
detection algorithm, more efficient use of the feedback channel with the
improved rate control mechanism, use of link layer information to
counter packet reordering and packet losses. The implementation now
supports chained memory buffers, a common packet memory handling
mechanism used in network protocol stacks for various operating systems.
The extensive logging functionality now enables users to analyze and
fine-tune Effnet ROHC™ according to individual customer requirements.
